Millions of us do, and most don't even know it. Many think that addicts are the unkempt, illiterate people who line our streets, panhandling for money, drugs, or sex. This stereotype has only confused the nature of sex addiction because those who struggle with it walk among us—as professionals, parents, and law-abiding citizens. But because of how they are seen in the world, sex addiction goes largely unnoticed.
